“+St.L: Growing an Urban Mosaic” Receives Multiple Awards

EDSI was part of an award-winning project design team which received multiple awards for +StL: Growing an Urban Mosaic.  The design team, led by TLS Landscape Architecture, Object Territories and {dhd} Derek Hoeferlin, submitted the design proposal for the Chouteau Greenway International Design Competition.  This competition was held by Great Rivers Greenway in an effort to have world class design plans submitted to establish a unique St. Louis greenway connecting Forest Park and Washington University to Midtown, Downtown, the Gateway Arch and the Riverfront.   Their team was one of the final four selected Design Teams to advance to Stage II. EDSI’s role included traffic and multi-modal transportation engineering, existing data collection and mapping, development and analysis of concepts, cost estimating, and participating in presentations.

This project received a 2019 Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects-New York and was also selected by the Jury as the Architizer A+ Awards Winner in the Landscape & Planning – Unbuilt Masterplan category.
